Congratulations on a big weekend

Happy Monday and congratulations to our coaches and swimmers for a great effort over the weekend.

Two competitions in two days is a lot to ask of both swimmers and coaches. There were some tired eyes last night, but everyone did a great job.

Thanks must go out to Tim and Nicholas for giving up a big chunk of their weekend to support our swimmers.

There were lots of great results, with a bunch PBs, qualifying times, and swimmers moving through to the All Junior Metropolitan Championships in late April.

But remember, swimming is a “lumpy” sport. Improvement is not linear, and no one can expect to achieve PBs every time they get in the water. A lot of factors affect how fast you’ll swim on any particular day. So if you didn’t set the time you were hoping for, rest assured that everyone has been there. Talk to your coach, listen to your coach, and jump back in the pool this week to train hard.

See you on pool deck!
