Good Afternoon All,

We are at the beginning of the long course season – for parents new to swimming, the long course (or 50m pool) season lasts until the end of Term 1, 2026, whereupon the short course (25m pool) season commences for the following two terms.

The club is now growing strongly and consistently. We have a lot of families at the club who are new to swimming, and quite a few families with very ambitious young swimmers.

We are proposing to introduce two parent information sessions over the next couple of weeks so that parents can ask Ian, as our Head Coach, and me, as Club President, any and all questions you might have about the coaching philosophy, training programs, competition plans, swimmer goal setting, parent-coach communication processes, etc.

Session 1 will be held at 5:30pm, Monday 27th October.

Session 2 will be held at 5:30pm, Thursday 30th October.

Depending on numbers, we will either gather in the outside courtyard next to the café, or see if we can reserve the crèche.
