Club Captain Nominations...

15 Jun by Crispin Butteriss

Dear Swimmers,

Nominations are now open for the positions of Senior, Junior and Nipper Captain for the upcoming season.

Club Captains play an important role in helping to build a positive, welcoming and supportive culture at Northcote Swim Club. Captains are role models who encourage their teammates, demonstrate good sportsmanship and help make our club a place where all swimmers can thrive.

If you would like to be considered for a Captain position, please send an email to ntc.swimming@gmail.com outlining:

p. Why being a Club Captain is important to you.
p. What qualities, skills or experiences you would bring to the role.
p. How you would contribute to the culture and community of Northcote Swim Club.

If you prefer just to have a chat, or to send a video, that's okay too. Just let me know.

Please remember that Club Captains are selected not only for their swimming achievements, but also for their leadership, character, commitment and contribution to the club.

We encourage all swimmers who are interested in the role to consider nominating.
Nominations close on Friday July 24th, so you've got plenty of time to think about it.

Read on below for a description of the ins and outs of the role.
